EELD Cargo Systems represent a logistics development concept in Croatia. The concept comprises of EELD portfolio projects – Kupinec and Benkovac. Croatia is the only central European, Pannonia-Danube and Adriatic-Mediterranean country which directly touches the south eastern area and in the next few years it will become a leading logistic position in South East Europe and the intersection of several major European trade routes, in accordance with its very favourable geo-strategic position and accession to EU membership.
EUROPEAN INTEREST IN CROATIAN TRANSPORT POSITION
· Axis integration of the Croatian traffic system in the European transport system consists of:
- Transverse direction of the traffic route from north to south, through which regions connecting areas of northern Europe (the Baltic and Scandinavia) from southern Europe and Mediterranean;
- Longitudinal direction of the east-west, which over regions connecting the West and Northwest Europe to East and South-East Europe and Middle East;
· As a part of Pan-European network of transport corridors, identified at the third Pan-European conference, the territory of Croatia pass the following three Pan-European corridors:
V. Corridor:
a) Link base Corridor V and Vb branches - Murakeresztur - Kotoriba - Čakovec – Pragersko;
b) Branch B (Corridor Vb) - Budapest - Zagreb - Rijeka;
c) Branch C (Corridor Vc) - Budapest - Osijek - Sarajevo – Ploče;
X. Corridor:
a) Base - Salzburg - Ljubljana - Zagreb - Belgrade - Nis - Skopje - Veles - Thessaloniki;
b) branch A (Corridor X) - Graz - Maribor - Zagreb;
VII. Corridor:
a) Danube river corridor;
Territorial and functional status of EELD Cargo Systems locations for the development of logistics centres in Croatia, in relation to the Pan European corridors, provides and ensures future clients and customers a leading role in terms of logistics and transportation in South Eastern Europe. The EELD Cargo Systems concept was carefully designed by logistics and traffic experts and architects in order to provide maximum flexibility and efficiency for each tenant as well as comfortable, functional and representative work environment for its employees and business partners.
